Today, the Totino’s $50,000 Invitational went underway and concluded in an epic fashion. That’s not to say that the remainder of the tournament wasn’t extremely entertaining, because it was. In case you missed it, eight teams were invited to participate in this competition and as you can imagine the biggest names were involved. If you were absent for the action or were unaware of the tournament altogether, scroll to the end of this article for a list of teams as well as their final placings.
This tournament was undoubtedly the most captivating competitive Call of Duty event that I have watched in years. Although Call of Duty: Ghosts and Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare were competed in heavily and there are always those outliers who will claim that they were successful games, mostly every Call of Duty eSports fan can agree that they indeed were not. It was not until today that I spectated a Call of Duty tournament that was thoroughly exciting. We saw and witnessed many things, such as a heavy usage of the M8A7 (not saying the gun is overpowered, just a general observation), as well as an incredibly nerve racking finish to a Fringe Hardpoint game between Team Kaliber and Rise Nation, which ended with a score of 250-249.
Based off of this initial Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 major tournament/event, I believe it is safe to say that we are in for a fun and prosperous year of competitive CoD. Of course there are still rule changes including the banning of certain guns/specialists/scorestreaks/etc., as well the formulation of a better map set for eSports game play, that are desperately needed, but I have full faith in this game and the potential that it carries.

A few years ago, the Microsoft Corporation, which is undoubtedly one of the world’s most successful companies in the planet’s history, not to mention how much of an impact that they have had on the technology industry in the past few decades, began offering certifications for their Microsoft Office programs. These certifications are also provided for Access, Outlook, SharePoint, OneNote, and Office365. In order to earn a Specialist certification in any one of these applications, one must take an exam in which their skills in each particular program are tested thoroughly. If the test-taker proves themselves and scores above a 700 out of 1,000 on the exam, then they will be provided with the title of Specialist for that particular Office function. Various effects and transitions can be implemented into the presentation to give the display a desired theme or purpose as well.
Ultimately, Microsoft Office programs are used frequently and for thousands of different reasons. They are very helpful for many people and can be used in nearly any profession. So, why try and master these programs as best as possible? Money, of course! Research shows that entry-level employees can earn an additional $16,000 more in annual salary than their non-certified counterparts. Being comfortable with these applications can also allow for users to create more interesting and successful projects too.
